I cant connect to my homepage webspace.
To be able to FTP to your free unlimited webspace you
must be using the IofM.net dial up connection, otherwise the FTP program will
just ' timeout' without connecting. Click here for information on how to access your
webspace.

Can I use my own CGI Scripts on my free webspace?
Yes you can use your own CGI scripts on your free webspace. However for the scripts to run, the perl script extension must be .cgi and not .pl

What is the path to perl for setting up my scripts?

Can I use PHP Scripts?
Yes you can also use PHP scripts on your free webspace. We currently do not offer MySQL database facilities on our free servers.

Do you support Frontpage Extensions?
No, we do not offer support for Frontpage Extensions.

Why can't I see my home page on the Internet?
Once you have uploaded, or published, your home page onto the Internet, it will have the format: www.yourusername.iofm.net
The main page of your website must be called index.html or index.htm etc.

How much Web space can I use?
You have unlimited webspace when signed up with IofM.net.

Does my webspace have pop-up banners and adverts?
NO !. We do not besiege you with annoying pop-up banners and adverts like other ISP's do. What you get with IofM.net is free unlimited webspace.

What OS will my website be hosted on?
All free webpace users are hosted on Unix Servers.

Will I be able to access my site for updates 24
hours per day?
You have unlimited access via FTP 24-hours a day. As
such, you can create and maintain your web pages on your own computer and
upload files to your web site at your leisure.

Can I use my account for commercial
purposes?
Yes, you can use your account for commercial purposes.
The World Wide Web has become the most efficient and cost-effective means of
making information available to the users of the Internet community and we
encourage our customers to utilize such an enormous medium.

Do you provide tech support?
Yes. We encourage our customers in need of assistance
to send an e-mail to technical@iofm.net
with questions or concerns about their web site. However,
we provide technical support only, we cannot provide help with HTML syntax or
CGI Script programming problems.
