 Inserting and Using Meta Tags

Now you have built your website you need to get it noticed !.
Its no good building a humdinger of a website if no-one is going to get to see it. Follow our guide on how to use meta tags and your hits should soar!

TITLE :
Make sure your site contains a title tag, which is
<title>site name short description</title>

META DESCRIPTION :
Include your company name. Include your industry or market. All meta tags should be placed between head and /head. Use keywords and key phrases in your descriptions. Do not exceed the 200 character limit used by most search engines.

META KEYWORDS :
Use plurals for your keywords. Search engines will process both the singular and plural form, repeating both is not needed. Excessive repetition in the keywords section of your META tags may cause your search engine to penalize a site's placement, this practice is viewed as search engine spam. Misspell keywords if common misspellings are used by newcomers in your industry.

Enter your website details below and then click on ' Create Tags ' and you will see the code appear which is inserted in the <HEAD> of your webpage.
If your website has many pages, change the meta keywords and description on each page to increase your chances of a higher placing on the search engines.

Enter Site Description
(more descriptive the better)

Enter up to 10 Keywords
(separated with spaces)

Here is your META - tag coding.
Put it in the HEAD of your HTML document.
