vintage transport systems in such original condition and within such close
proximity.
| The beautifully restored and
maintained rolling stock would gladden the heart of anyone, but for those who
come especially to the Island it is indeed a paradise. Not only can the
original rolling stock be travelled on, photographed and closely inspected, the
stations are mainly original too; from the award winning Port Erin IMR
Station and rustic Laxey MER station through delightful countryside halts
and ticket booths, all adding to this unique railway experience. |

During the course of each year, Special events are arranged and
include open days at the workshops, night photography, walking disused railway
lines, talks, double-headers, trams in unison and cavalcades. |
