It's great and all to
have a jazzy Web page that you can look at on your computer, but how do you get
the rest of the world to see it? How do you get it onto the Web?
Well, remember that
the Internet is a bunch of interconnected computers. To get to this site and
read this article, your computer had to call your ISP (Internet service
provider - the service that gives you access to the Internet, like
IofM.net). Since your ISP has a bunch of
computers that are linked up to the Internet, what you need to do is send your
HTML file to your ISP so it can store your file on one of its computers. That
way other Web surfers around the world will be able to access it.
With IofM.net you get Unlimited Webspace so that you
can upload and use as much space as you require. |
