A browser is an application program that allows you to view and
interact with all the information contained on the World Wide Web.
Home pages are usually much more than just one web page
that you see when you click on a link. They are usually a series of linked
pages that we call a web site.
Web pages
are written in a special language called HTML (hypertext markup
language) which can be interpreted or "read" by a web browser.
This is the language that web designers use to program web
pages.
