| Follow these easy steps and you will be online with
the new and totally free Ineternet Service Provider IofM.net |
If you have an early
version of Windows 95, you may have difficulty accessing
Iofm.net
If this is the case (ie you don't have TCP/IP installed),
simply follow these instructions.
If you already have Internet access,
simply go to our signup page
and follow from step 4. |

STEP 1
From the Desktop, double click
"Start"
Move cursor up to "Settings"
and across to "Control Panel".
Double click on "Network" and then click "Add".
Select "Protocol", then click "Add".
Select "Microsoft" on the left, then scroll down
to select "TCP/IP" on the right.
Click "OK".
Restart your
computer.
On reboot you may be asked
for a user name.
Type in your name
and leave the password blank.
STEP 2.
From
Desktop, double click the "My Computer" icon then double click "Dial up
Networking".
Double click the "Make
New Connection" icon.
Type in "iofm"
for the name and click "Next"
Type
area code "0845" and phone number "112 1366".
Select "United Kingdom" (44), click "Next" then
click "Finish".
STEP
3.
In the "Dial up Networking"
window, double click the new "Iofm" icon.
Type "register" for both the user name and
password.
Click "Connect". Once
connected, close the "Dial up Networking" window and click on the big "e" to
start Internet Explorer.
In the
address line type: http://www.iofm.net/signup/
STEP 4.
You must now complete the registration page.
Once completed, click "Submit" and if possible, print out the
Welcome Page.
Click on the text "Click Here" to
update your settings and then click "Open" to automatically update your
internet settings.
Close Internet Explorer and
disconnect from the internet.
STEP 5.
From the Desktop, right click on the "Internet Explorer" icon.
Select "Properties" and in
the address box type: http://www.iofm.net/
Click "Apply" then "OK".
Double click the big "e" to launch
Internet Explorer and .....
START SURFING !
