The Isle of Man has eight still water
reservoir's, they offer a great contrast in fishing as they vary from sheltered
lowland reservoirs to exposed upland waters in the central hills.

STOCKING
This usually takes
place at regular intervals throughout the season. When and where the steams are
stocked is obviously not published knowledge!
On the reservoirs the
situation is slightly different. Here a no fishing zone may be introduced for a
short period after stocking and it is well signed. Ballure
, Cringle
, Clypse
and Kerrowdhoo
are closed briefly but at least 24hrs notice is given via
notices at each reservoir.
