1/2 lb. Flour
1 Dessert Spoon of
2 Teaspoons Dripping
Pinch of Baking
Mix oatmeral, flour, sugar and
baking powder. Melt the dripping and add it to the beaten egg. Add the liquid
to the oatmeal mixture and form into a good firm dough.
Turn on to a floured board and knead. Roll out thinly, prick with
a fork, and cut into rounds.
Bake in a very
moderate oven for about twenty minutes.
